A day later Mom and Dad came to Provo. Friday morning we took off for Las Vegas to visit Mark, Sarah, and Boyce. We had snow most of the way so were grateful to get to Nevada where things were slightly warmer (but not by much, no shorts this trip).
We celebrated Mom and Dad's anniversary that night by going out to eat at a buffet near Mark and Sarah's at a Marriott resort. We then went downtown. We never did see the Bellagio fountain as it was too windy for it to go.
We spent some time in the Flamingo shopping. Here's Boyce's reaction to it all.
Saturday was much warmer. We were able to watch all of conference by streaming it through the internet onto the big screen. While Mark and Dad went to priesthood, the girls (and Boyce) shopped! Sarah helped me find a good pair of shoes and purse(mine decided to fall apart the night before).
Dad got Mom and I up at his usual time today and I was back in Provo by the end of the first session of Sunday conference.
